since i finally started this thing i wanted to upload and post a couple pages from the zine/book i've been working on. I'm very excited i finally got my hands on cs4 (thanks again andy!) so i can start editing things i had done and start working on new pages and other work.
speaking of, i'm going to hopefully get some sketches done for design work for a project my concepts professor is working on called the green magnolia project. i'll post that stuff too when it happens as well as more information about it. It would be a great honor to be a part of it...the rest of the folks are more advanced students in the graphic design side of things than i.
I also got a new job! i can quit working for classic alterations doing screenprinting t shirts. i got a full time job working for natural alternatives in their call center. it's a lot of new stuff to get used to, but i think it'll be really fun and rewarding and i'm very excited to have the opportunity to help jessica do design work for them also. i think it'll be a good learning experience for me as well as a possible stepping stone to other things. i think our styles will definitely work well together and its cool to finally work a job where i can be creative and get paid for it! i'm going to keep working for target a few hours a day, four days a week to get a little extra cash...but i really don't know how long that will last. i really dont like waking up at 330.

sorry i dont do much on here anymore. im trying to start again..something i can post art to and keep in touch with folks on. please check it out, keep checking it...and keep in touch with me. ill try to post on here when i update it and everything... ill post the same stuff i post there maybe. does anyone still read this?? can you tell me if you care? do you miss my artwork? would you make artwork with me? would you submit to a magazine if i started one? photography? illustration? writing? etc etc? id really like to do something with you, deforge and/or pierre... ive admired you guys' work for a long time, and i know we used to comment back and forth a lot before, also, your photographs virginia are amazing, marisa you too! and theres a ton of others too that i want to read my blog , see my art,... etc. ill get in touch with people one on one too. i miss being more active with this kind of thing and art in general.

a lot, because they print real nice and are soft.

this is the first design on a natural colored shirt, the first ink color is a metallic bronze (ooh), the second black

so i've long neglected livejournal, i know. i was scannerless, bummed out by how much time i was on the internet and not doing other things or working on making art, etc. but i got a scanner, and i'm drawing more, and will have an operational silkscreen setup in the next month or so. sweet!
i really wanna put out a book using lulu soon. i wonder if people would buy them though.
here's some pen and inks i did for an x-rated zine jeremy and kat are putting together. mmhmm.

im finally updating. heres some artwork ive been working on. the paintings are all kinda blurry because the scanner messed up for some reasons unknown. the other two are two diff. versions of a little poster i made in july. the blue one of which wasnt used because the transparency didnt work out enough. i have a show here going up on friday. thats pretty exciting and i really like the new stuff ive done for it. ill take lots of photos as soon as we get a digital camera again...(soon if people dont keep outebaying me.)

i had an amazingly fun night last night with jessica and joseph. we bought a ball for a dollar, played in worlds fair park, made loud indian war whoops (well joseph and i anyways), went out for tea, browsed fantastic horror movies, and then came here and watched 28 days later. i honestly havent had that much fun in a while and it was very nice.

the worst fucking thing happened this morning. i got my lip pierced back on monday., and its been really swollen since i got it, and for some reason it started bleeding a little bit before i went to sleep last night. so i stopped it so i thought, and went to bed.
i woke up at 7, and my pillow, sheets, mattress pad, face arms and hair were covered in blood. a lot. i had this huge ball of congealed blood that wasnt really hard at all stuck to my lip because it must have just bled out all night, enough to soak all the way through my pillow. it was really fucking scary because i didnt know what happened, there was blood everywhere! and i felt that congealed mass thinking my lip had torn somehow or some crazy shit like that. so i started getting really lightheaded and felt like i might pass out/vomit. awesome! i have to go to saint and find out what the fuck happened to it... i dont think its infected, i just dont think my lip is responding very well. so i need to go see if i dont need to take it out. im going to be really pissed/sad if i do. at least it happened on my day off i guess.
time to shower, i just found some more blood in my hair.
bleech when i was putting new sheets on my bed i noticed somehow last night i splattered blood on the walls. dkaelageklaggg

heres the orthrelm poster i made. its only 11"x14" and its on shitty chipboard.(i thought i had enough paper but guess who was wrong.) the colors are off because its a shitty photo, but the purple is more purple and the 2nd color is more pinkish melon. i really fucking need bigger screens.
